Chicoutimi Residences
The Val-Lomberette residences have the mission to serve the university complex of the University of Quebec in Chicoutimi (UQAC). Located in Ville Saguenay, in the Chicoutimi borough, the Val-Lomberette residences allow its occupants to enjoy urban life and nature, while being close to the services and attractions of Chicoutimi. Our facilities include 7 buildings, built between 1998 and 2009, for a total of 241 rooms.
In 2022, we added 40 rooms to our offer with a new partnership with the Hôtel Chicoutimi. Since the beginning of 2023, a new partnership allows us to offer 30 additional rooms at the Residence du parc.
In order to meet the needs of its clientele, which consists mainly of foreign students, Résidences Val-Lomberette offers various type of accomodation :

Our studios

An open space for 1 or 2 persons including one bedroom with a queen size bed, a living room with a working desk a kitchen and a bathroom (shower only).
Individual room
The individual rooms are fully furnished units that includes a sink, a small refrigerator and a microwave area. On each floor you find a kitchen, a rest room, three complete bathrooms (with showers) and a small powder room.
Private room at Résidence du parc
Located off campus, the Residence du parc offers private rooms with a bathroom.

We offer a non smoking environment in our residences.
All guest rooms at the student accommodation come with a seating area, a flat-screen TV with cable channels, a kitchen, a dining area and a private bathroom. The units will provide guests with a desk and a coffee machine.
The nearest airport is Bagotville Airport (YBG), located at 15 km from the accommodation.
