Internet

L'Université du Québec en Abitibi-Témiscamingue provides Internet access to residential users. This service is intended primarily for academic use, personal use is however tolerated within reasonable limits. In order to ensure the best possible service to all, this network (wired and wireless) is protected and monitored and the use of certain protocols and sites for movie or music downloads is blocked and / or monitored.

Phone

The phones in the corridors are the property of the residences, it is forbidden to stick or put anything on it.  To make a call, dial 9 followed by the 10-digit phone number.  Long distance calls can only be made using a calling card.

Laundry room

In each building, you will find on the ground floor a laundry room.  The cost for each appliance use is $ 1.50 for washing and $ 1.50 for drying.  An iron and ironing board are available for free at the rental desk.

Mail and parcel

Mail boxes are available in the basement of each building.  Each apartment has a postal box. One key for your apartment mail box will be given to you and you must give it back at the end of your lease.

If you want parcel or letters to be delivered to your postal box, it is very important that the number of the apartment be registered otherwise the mail will be returned to the sender by Canada Post

Mail and parcel

Mail boxes are available at every apartment door. All letters and parcels are delivered directly to your apartment.

If you want parcel or letters to be delivered correctly, it is very important that the number of the apartment be registered otherwise the mail will be returned to the sender by Canada Post of the delievring company.
